dreamweaver template removes swf when...

Everthing was working great, then I update the index pagewith the temp. and the swf banner disappeared.

I can't seem to get it back, after viewing the temp. in聽 a browser it's there.

I've done these a million times and this is the first time this has happened.

Any one know what is going on?

You may want to provide a link to the problem page - it's the only way people can really help and that's by looking at the code.

as you can see the banner is just a white slug.

Ok, I don't do flash, but until someone else comes along that does....

I note that the path to the flash js file is correct.聽 Also the Flash file itself plays if you navigate directly to it.

Have you uploaded all the necessary files that DW writes automatically when you insert a flash file.

From this technote:聽 http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/936/9c3f9367.html

''Dreamweaver creates this external file (AC_RunActiveContent.js), and places it in a new folder (called Scripts, placed at the root of your site)

Yes, everthing is correct.

I've tryed everything.

This is really wierd.

If I create a page from the temp. the flash shows up, if I edit the flash file and then update聽 the index page it vanishes into thin air.

I think I'll jump to the Flash fourm.

Thanks for looking into it.
