Flash Player 10--failed to register

I have been trying to download and install Adobe Flash Player 10, but cannot make it happen. I have tried with both IE7 %26amp; IE8. I have tried installing from your site and also downloading the executable file. From your site I get the error, ''Failed to register''. If I use the downloaded executable file, Install_Flash_Player_10_ActiveX.zip, the error I get is ''Failed to Install.'' I have read many of the forum threads on this and, as suggested there, have tried going to the DOS command prompt and typing, ''secedit...'', but DOS says the command does not exist. What can I do?

I don't know what instructions you are referring to, but most/all of these instructions that use registry editing or deal with DOS commands must be followed exactly, otherwise they will fail.?For instance you will have to be in the correct directory when you issue non-DOS commands.

What would you suggest I do about this problem?

God bless,

Go to this websit:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/313222

Click the fix it option and donwload the program

It will work automatically

Then uninstall and install the flash player.

It should work after that.
